If you say "rune" in Europe the runes people will most likely think of are not the Elder Futhark made famous by the marketing genius who sold Ralph Blum's book with the tactile experience of a set of cast runes. The magical runes are the Armanen runes, all of which are based on the hexagon and its diagonals. The money market was in producing books on the runes that Blum brought into public consciousness with 600,000 books and sets sold. But the magical runes for those interested in magic are the Armanen runes. This first section of a course given to practicing magicians, deals with the first six of the 18 sacred Armanen runes, how to study them, and how to use them to integrate their associated powers into the life of the runist. Hagal/Nod

a monograph that follows from the Operator's Manual, which deals with the runes from FA to KA. This one deals with the next two runes in the Armanen circle. It contains much of the material in the Hagal monograph which quoted it extensively, and also deals with the karma rune of the three Norns: NOD.

Hagal

a monograph about one rune, the snowflake rune HAGAL. It was written for the magically competent initiates of the College of Esoteric Studies in Barbados as part of a Master's program, and contains more practical magick than many big books that slavishly copy the Golden Dawn material. Some of the material in the book has never been put on paper anywhere else.

Whoever physically forms and experiences the Runes in a pure and conscious manner, will have great secrets opened to him, if he practices, vibrates, and dances in the radio waves, subtle currents and flowing energies of the All. Accompanying ideal higher development, clairvoyance, astral perceptions, heightened psychic ability and prophetic vision will arise in the Runer, in the practitioner.
